Amy Livingston and Jessie Froehlich recent graduates just completed a master plan for the farm focusing on several key points, one, being the conversion to renewable and sustainable energy, and another being the creation of an irrigation pond at the base of the mountain. The woman also explorer the best location for a large compost station and the use of biomass to create fuel for the machinery. They addressed the use of more farm animals to help the upper grazing land maintain it’s usability. These are all avenues which we plan to pursue, some sooner and some latter but all are on our long term plan for the farm.
